while文でフォークしてあるのが曲者らしく、whileで走っているプロセスの親プロセスの間では変数の共有ができないらしい。

そのため、最後に検知したファイルの数、実行したテストの数、Failしたテスト詳細を表示するためにコマンドなどを載せるつもりだったのに、うまく設計できなかった。

この件に関してはいろんな人がうまくいっていないようだった。「ヒアドキュメント」なるものを使うとうまくいくようだが詳細は自分にもよくわからない。
